It also hosts the Alliance capital city Ironforge and the Horde capital of Undercity. Light's Hope Chapel serves as the primary travel hub. The area also features a large lake called Darrowmere Lake. This polluted water body is infested with maggots, oozes and plaguebears.

The Wrath of the Lich King is the second novel in the Warcraft franchise. It centers around the Lich King, Arthas Menethil. He shares a complicated history with Jaina Proudmoore, Uther Lightbringer and Sylvanas Windrunner.

After defeating Illidan Stormrage, he traveled to the frozen north and broke through the eternal ice of Icecrown in order to don the Helm of Domination and merge with Ner’zhul. He started raising undead armies, reanimated Kel’Thuzad and killed his own father, Terenas.

Frostmourne

As its name suggests, Frostmourne was the ultimate runeblade. It once belonged to Ner’zhul, the Lich King, but was destroyed during Arthas’s defeat in Icecrown Citadel.

A powerful artifact, the hilt of Frostmourne bears an inscription that reads “Whomsoever takes up this blade shall wield power eternal. Just as the blade rends flesh, so must power scar the spirit.”

When Arthas took it up, he transformed into the one-of-a-kind Death Knight, a warrior of undeath with unique powers and abilities. It also corrupted his soul, turning it into a banshee-like form and enslaving him to the will of Ner’zhul.

When the sword was shattered by Ashbringer atop Icecrown Citadel, it released the spirits trapped within. Those spirits were reshaped into the blades of Icebringer and Frostreaper, which are now wielded by heroes of Azeroth. As these heroes battle the Scourge, they carry the legacy of Ner’zhul and Arthas with them — as well as the curse of Frostmourne.

Sylvanas Windrunner

Sylvanas Windrunner, Banshee Queen of the Forsaken, is a cold-hearted, indomitable leader who will stop at nothing to secure her people’s future. She is a master of necromancy, capable of resurrecting the dead and turning them into new forces for her army. She can no longer feel pain, but she has a weakness: her body can be destroyed.

Arthas denied Sylvanas the peace of death. He tore her soul from her lifeless form, turned her into a banshee under his full control and kept her body locked away for extra torment. She resented him for it. He had killed her dad, broken the heart of her pretty ex-girlfriend and committed a bunch of war crimes. In her eyes, he was a traitor and a killer. She wanted revenge. And she got it. And then some. Eventually, she confronted him on the Frozen Throne in Northrend. It didn’t end well for either of them. And the veil between Azeroth and the Shadowlands was shattered forever.

Kel’Thuzad

Kel’Thuzad is the last boss of the dread citadel of Naxxramas. He fights with a legion of undead including soldiers of the Frozen Wastes, unstoppable abominations and banshees. He also casts powerful spells and mind control abilities. This encounter is a hard-mode, and players will need to be in high mp/5 or Spirit gear.

After slaying the corrupted prince, Kel’Thuzad was offered immortality and immense power by Ner’zhul himself in exchange for his loyalty. Though he initially resisted the order, his reluctance faded as he heard the voice of the Lich King calling out to him.If you visit this website, you can get more and more wotlk classic gold on the internet platform.

He was given a new purpose: to spread the plague of undeath across the world and start his master’s war for all eternity. The lich would serve the Legion as a powerful tool, sacrificing himself and those in his path for their own ends. The tormented soul of the orc Arthas was one of his pawns in this massive war.

Muradin

Muradin Bronzebeard was a dwarven combat veteran who became friends with Prince Arthas. He trained Arthas in the ways of warfare and accompanied him on many adventures, including trips to the frozen continent of Northrend. In addition to being one of the founders of the Explorers' League along with his brother Brann, he was also Arthas’ first mentor.

During his travels, he met the now-evil wizard Kel’Thuzad, who was spreading a deadly plague through the granaries of Lordaeron. This virulent curse was more than just an infection; it warped corpses into undead monstrosities and devoured the living.

After fighting the undead at Stratholme, Kel’Thuzad mentioned the existence of Frostmourne, a runeblade that could grant its wielder limitless power. Despite Muradin’s protests about the danger of such an evil weapon, Arthas vowed that he would bear any curse to obtain it and wrenched Frostmourne from its ice prison. In the process, he broke his brother’s soul and slaughtered his minions before confronting Mal’Ganis himself.
